Aftercare
Aftercare is crucial to the look and healing of your brand new tattoo. It is an open wound so you have to be sure to take good care of it and follow all aftercare instructions. I will explain to you how to care for your new artwork after your tattoo session, but you can always refer back to here if you need a refresher.

The First Day
I will put a bandage on your fresh tattoo before you leave. After 24 hours remove the bandage under lukewarm running water. Wash your tattoo with an unscented antibacterial soap immediately after removing the bandage to remove any leftover adhesive. Pat your tattoo dry with a paper towel, do not rub. When your tattoo begins to peel, you can start applying an unscented lotion. You only need a little bit of lotion, but this will help keep your tattoo moisturized and keep the itchiness to a minimum.
Healing Process
The healing process will take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks, your tattoo will peel (kind of like a sunburn) but don't worry its completely normal! If you need a touch up I will do one at no charge to you, but it has to be at least 30 days after your tattoo appointment. Be sure to continue to wash 1-3 times a day and keep your tattoo moisturized. If you have any questions or concerns about a healing tattoo feel free to contact me.
